This cuvee is a rich and complex wine

This is a Monople wine meaning that the domaine owns the whole vineyard

The estate was ranked a fourth growth in the 1855 classification

Much was removed in the late 1880's and used for some of the d'Arenberg buildings

Musar corks can be problematic and the estate themselves suggest using prongs rather than a cork screw 2001 seems to be particularly susepatable to them breaking
