Bevel Edge Reed Knife Cane ShaperThe Chiarugi plane reed knife has blade that is 4mm thick and 8cm long. The blade is made from ground and tempered steel which is then hand sharpened and mounted on a polished African ebony handle. Available for left or right handed people. The blade has two flat sides making it our easiest knife to sharpen although this is at the slight compromise of how sharp the blade can be (see our Concave Reed Knife for the ideal sharpness ease of sharpening
