This tall porcelain tealight-vase has been impressed with cowparsley flowers collected in the local countryside

I have then glazed it in with a combination of orangy-red and blue

A variety of different grasses collected on summer walks have been impressed into clay to create this tealight-vase reminiscent of languid summer days

Some people have flowers or lace from their wedding or other life events immortalized in their tiles

It would look great in any living area -  on a side table or mantle piece creating a warm relaxing glow when lit

That year the theme was ‘Only Connect’ which is a quote from EM Forster’s novel Howard’s End

'Into the blue' would make a great bedside light - lying down in bed you have the relaxing blue cowparsley flowers to look at
