National Hex Toolkit (1H 2026)The National Hex Toolkit is a broadband planning tool enabling ISPs and state broadband offices to exploit the latest available FCC data for network planning. It also enables the user to distinguishing between served or funded, underserved and unfunded, and unserved and unfunded in a BEAD framework. It reflects the March 3rd, 2026 release of FCC BDC Fabric v7 coverage data, reflecting networks nationwide as of 6 30 2025. In 2026 states will receive

individuals who are members of a racial or ethnic minority

The new BEAD performance requirements expose large portions of the United States as failing to meet minimum broadband performance requirements

In 2025 states will receive tens of billions of dollars of federal funding (ARP/CPF and IIJA/BEAD) for infrastructure grants (link)
