Throughout summer, ripening proceeded slowly during the long warm days. August and September brought record heats, but with our slow ripening nature of the 2022 vintage, the fruit was unharmed. Unseasonal rains brought much needed soil moisture and allowed our fruit to

well structured on the palate with soft tannins and a long finish

With a glance at the dark purple color—the hue of a Kalamata olive—and a sniff of the nose heavy on dark ripe fruit and black tea

showing good balance and rich texture

culminating in a Pinot Noir emblematic of the Willamette Valley
