Victorian 15ct Yellow Gold Ruby, Pearl and Enamel Locket Back Brooch, Circa 1880 December birthdayAn incredible, Victorian, large gold brooch, with a raised centre section decorated with bright blue enamel, featuring a ruby and pearl studded star motif, with delicate white enamel and bead work in the surround. The reverse of the brooch houses a glazed locket compartment, originally intended to hold a photo or lock of hair. With a pin and "C" catch fitting.
