It is created using a unique, labor intensive process. While bourbon is generally, barreled at a relatively high 125 proof, we reduce the bourbon from its original proof to a proof close to its ultimate bottle proof 90. It is then re barreled in a second, new charred oak barrel. This reinforces the barrel notes for which bourbon is so famous. To our knowledge there is
