Down The Road At Dawn Size:8x10 photographic printThe morning sun begins to crack a heavy blanket of fog in Southwest Montana during early January. I intentionally shot this image in black and white, wanting to show the contrast between the dirt road partially lined with snow, the filtered disk of sun, and the cottonwood trees lining the road. It has a fine art feel that combines striking detail with a haunting sense that it's leading somewhere unseen.
