A George II Silver Salver by George Hindmarsh, London 1734 George Adamsenquire A very fine silver salver of circular form with shaped rim and the whole resting on four scroll feet. The centre embossed & chased with foliate scroll decoration. Hallmarked for London 1734 by George Hindmarsh. This is in superb condition with no repairs with very clear definition to the decoration. The decoration and armorial are obviously contemporary with the piece and as a result are slightly worn as are the undersides of the feet

although occasionally

the pierced sides embossed and chased with a floral

To the center with a coat-of-arms belonging to the Scottish Middleton clan

The hallmarks to the body are unsurprisingly somewhat worn but still legible
